Scivra keeps cookies and browser storage to a minimum. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. This page lists what is stored in your browser.

themeRemembers light or dark mode
Keys starting with scivra:<id>: (on lab pages)Your saved lab progress: predictions, notebook entries and answers, kept separately for each account (or a guest space when signed out). Stored only on your device, never sent to our servers
scivra:storage-event and keys starting with scivra:storage-event:A short signal used after you delete your account, so other open tabs and labs in the same browser clear that account's saved progress. Contains no lab work

Third-party cookies

  • Crisp (chat window, on public and account pages only) may set cookies to keep a chat conversation going. See Crisp's privacy policy.
  • Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout and billing pages, which are hosted by Stripe, for fraud prevention. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (sign-up page) may use browser signals to check for bots.

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies. Our separate first-source cookie is described above; it does not contain a full URL, referrer or IP address. No third-party tracking script is added for account conversion counts. Lab pages (/learn and /labs) load no analytics or chat tools.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Clearing them will sign you out and remove lab progress saved on that device.
